Launch of Hemodialysis Unit

On April 30, 2025, Hon. Jenista Muhagama and Bishop Salutaris M. Libena officially launched the new Hemodialysis Unit, strengthening access to specialized kidney care services at the hospital.

Specialist Doctors Successfully Remove Large Tumor from Pregnant Mother

Specialist doctors at St. Francis Referral Hospital Ifakara successfully performed a delicate surgery to remove a tumor weighing more than eight kilograms along with five liters of fluid from a six-month pregnant mother, saving both the mother and her pregnancy.
